LHS Swim Team: City Championship
The girls team took third place in the city meet, lead by senior captains Savannah Mixon and Meagan Johnson. Freshman April Moore took two first places, senior Meagan Johnson took two second places, sophomore Leah Gates took a fourth place and senior Savannah Mixon took an eighth place.  They have a lot of new girls on the team and they all swam extremely well.

The boys team took second place behind George Jenkins by 8 points. Captains Eric Moore and Kyle Champeau lead the way with both getting two first places each and with Eric Moore setting two new City records. Senior Austin Haigler took two fourth places, and  Sophomore James Eckman took two first places. The boys team is small but all the swimmers swam far past their coaches expectations.
